You can lock content or products so only members can access them. Gated items show up for members on your community page, and you can gate one item, everything at once, or in bulk by tag, which is the quick way to manage access at scale across your entire community.
How to add perks
Click Community in the left sidebar and open your community.
Click the Perks tab.
Under your tier, click Add Perk and choose what to add:
Posts. Search for a post, gate all posts, or gate posts with a specific tag.
Videos. Search for a video, gate all videos, or gate videos with a specific tag.
Page. Add a custom tab to your community page, built with HTML. Click Create a new item to build it. This makes a new page, it can't gate an existing Shopify page.
Products. Search for a product. Set a claim limit to cap how many each member can buy, and use visibility to show or hide it on your community page.
Click Save.

Gating a product? One quick step. When you gate a product, you'll see a prompt to update your store's buy buttons so members can purchase it. Click Install Now and follow the steps. See Memberships: Buy Buttons.
