Collecting Member Info with Complete Your Profile

How to prompt members to fill in their profile and choose what details you collect.

Complete Your Profile is a card members see in your community that asks them to fill in their details. When a fan signs up and logs in for the first time, they'll see a container with the fields you've chosen. You decide whether to show it and which fields it collects, all from your community settings.

Turn the profile card on or off

  1. Go to Community → Settings.

  2. Under Member profile, choose:

    • Show Profile Card. Members see a card prompting them to fill in the fields below, any time after they log in.

    • Hide Profile Card. Members aren't prompted to complete their profile.

Choose what to collect

When the card is on, set each field to Yes to ask for it or No to leave it out:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Phone Number

  • Birthday

  • Zipcode

  • Email Marketing Opt-In

Click Save Settings when you're done.

Common questions

When do members see the profile card?

The first time a fan logs in after signing up. The card stays visible until they complete it, so it keeps prompting them across logins until the info is filled in.

Can members skip it?

Yes. Members can close the card. If it isn't filled in, it stays persistent and will prompt them again later.

Can I make fields required?

Yes. You can set fields as required so members fill them in before finishing.
