Single has long powered digital download sales on Shopify. Now, fans can stream their music the moment they check out — or download the same way they're used to.
The fan experience
Product page
Fans get a taste of your sound through the Tracklist block. Each track gets a 30-second preview, right on the product page.
Post-checkout
No wait time. Fans unlock streaming the second they hit "Buy." They can jump in from two places:
1. The checkout page. A "Listen Now" button appears on Shopify's "Thank You" and "Order Status" pages after payment.

2. Their inbox. A "Listen Now" link is included in the delivery email.
Both lead to the same place — the streaming page, where fans listen, download, and come back anytime.
Fans can return to either access point anytime. The Order Status page lives in their Shopify account; the delivery email stays in their inbox.
How to set up streaming for new releases
Drop new releases the same way you always have. One album product now does it all: streaming and downloads, out of the box.
There are two quick set-up steps. Every release after that is automatic:
Add the Tracklist block to your default Shopify product template.
Add Instant Access links to your checkout and confirmation pages.
Bringing your back catalog along
Have older releases published with Single's audio player? Log into Single, go to Music → Digital Delivery, and click Update releases. One click updates your entire back catalog for streaming. Your albums keep selling the whole time.
Here's what happens:
Track products are archived. They get hidden from your store but kept on file, so past order history stays intact.
The album collection is deleted. The collection that grouped your album's tracks gets removed — it's no longer needed for streaming.
Your album moves to your default template. Your album product moves to your default product template, where the Tracklist block now lives.
