Create Video Post

Share videos with your members using video posts. This guide walks you through the process step-by-step

Step by step

1. Getting Started

To begin creating a new post:

  1. Sign into your Single account

  2. Navigate to Posts from the left sidebar

  3. Click + Create Post

  4. Select "Video" as your post type

2. Adding Your Video

Choose a video for your post:

  1. Choose "Browse Library" or "Upload new video"

  2. For new uploads:

    • Supported formats: MOV, MP4, or MPG

    • Maximum file size: 1000GB

    • Maximum duration: 12 hours

Note: "Browse Library" shows videos you've previously uploaded to Single, including on-demand, livestream, and rental videos.

3. Drafting Your Post

Set up the details of your post:

  1. Add a Post Title

  2. Write your Body text (HTML formatting allowed)

  3. Choose an Author:

    • Search for existing authors or create new ones

    • Add multiple authors if needed

  4. Add Tags:

    • Search for existing tags or create new ones

    • Use tags to organize content and improve discoverability

  5. Add a Call to Action (optional):

    • Add a link to direct members to a specific page

    • Add Call to Action button text to encourage clicks

  6. Enable or Disable Comments

4. Set Post Accessibility and Notifications

Control who sees your post and whether to notify members via email:

  1. Choose post access:

    • Select specific tiers or all tiers

  2. Email notification:

    • Enable email notifications to notify members who opt-in

Note: Customize emails in Settings > Notifications to match your brand with logos, colors, and text.

5. Publish Your Post

Once you're happy with your post:

  1. Review all details

  2. Click + Publish Now or + Schedule for Later
