Archiving is permanent and cancels active members. Archiving a membership, tier, or term immediately cancels it for every active member and removes their perks. This can't be undone. Be especially careful with paid tiers, since archiving cancels members who are actively paying.
What archiving does
When you archive a membership, tier, or term, it's instantly canceled for all active members, along with the perks tied to it.
To prevent mistakes, Single asks you to manually type the name of what you're archiving before it goes through.
Common questions
Can I restore it by republishing?
No. Republishing won't bring back lost members. Anyone who lost their membership has to pay full price to start a new term.
Do members get a refund?
No. Members aren't automatically refunded when archiving cancels a paid membership. As the store owner, it's up to you whether to refund them.
How do I avoid archiving the wrong thing?
Single requires you to type the exact name before archiving. Read it carefully and make sure nothing active is attached, especially a paid tier with paying members, before you confirm.
