How it works
Shopify's discount codes for subscription products allow you to create specialized discounts for the paid Membership tiers you've set up in Single.
These discounts can be applied in 3 ways:
Discount on first payment only, then normal billing
Discount on a set number of subscription payments
Discount on all future payments (like a lifetime free membership)

Step by step
Log into your Shopify admin
Go to Discounts > Create Discount
Choose "Amount off products / Product Discount" as the discount type.
Select discount code or automatic discount
Set discount value and purchase type to Subscription
Search for and select your Membership tier in Shopify inventory
Set purchase minimum requirements, customer eligibility restrictions, and maximum discount uses
Choose recurring payment discount option:
First payment only
Multiple payments
All recurring payments
Set combinations and active dates
Save discount
