Sends download links to customers via email notification (option for white-labeling)
Reports sales to Billboard, OCC, and ARIA
Only counts sales with successful email delivery

Step by step
1. Select release type
Log in to your Single account
Go to Music > Digital Delivery from the left sidebar
Choose your type:
Album, EP, Single: For digital releases and pre-orders
Beats, Instrumentals, & Stems: For sample packs and beats
Pre-Release Tracks: For instant gratification tracks only

2. Set up digital release
Upload album artwork:
JPG/PNG format
Minimum 1400 x 1400
Maximum 2048 x 2048
Enter required details:
Release title
Main artists
Date/time
Primary genre
Price
UPC/EAN
3. Upload and set up tracklist
Upload tracks (WAV, AIFF, FLAC)
For each track, add:
Title
ISRC
Artists
Price
Configure track options:
Track release dates
Album-only toggle
30-second preview toggle
Explicit content flag
Add optional data:
Producer
Writer
ISWC
Lyrics
Note: If some tracks are still being finalized, you can utilize Placeholder Tracks and update them with the completed audio files at a later time.
4. Schedule pre-order (Optional)
Add presale date/time
Toggle "confidential release" to
Hide the release date from the digital product page
Stop the initial "Your Download Is Expected on X" email
Hide the album release date from grat track delivery emails
Select geographic availability of overall release
5. Add additional files (Optional)
Upload extra content (up to 750 MB), such as:
PDFs
Artwork
Sheet music
Tips for sample packs:
Upload main samples as audio files in the Tracklist section for customer previews.
Enable 30-second previews for all tracks when selecting Publish With Tracklist to preview main samples.
Attach the sample pack as zip files in the Additional Files section.
6. Review digital release
Click Review for Sale
Check all details are correct
7. Publish digital release
Choose publishing method:
Attach to Existing Product (Recommended):
Search for your Shopify product
Select product to attach your release to
Single creates a Shopify product for your release automatically
Things to note:
Publishing with Audio Player may duplicate products if a dedicated release already exists in Shopify.
Avoid creating variants of digital music products generated by Single in Shopify, as this can cause reporting and delivery issues.
FAQs
What happens if my release date is today or has already passed?
If the release date of your digital albums and tracks is set for today or is in the past, they will be available for immediate sale as soon as you submit them.
What if I choose a future pre-sale date for my release?
Should you set a future pre-sale date for your release, it will become available in your Shopify store precisely at the date and time you specified.
Can I keep the release date hidden during the pre-sale period?
Yes, you can maintain the secrecy of your release date during the pre-sale by opting for a Confidential Release. This feature keeps the release date hidden until the specified time.
When will my tracks and audio previews be visible in the store?
Track listings and 30-second audio previews will not appear in your store until each track’s individual release date arrives.
